How can I register

* With what type of bike can I participate? Gravel bikes, Cyclo-Cross bikes, and MTBs are the only bikes allowed at BIG. For P'TIT BIG, e-bikes (VAE) are also accepted.

* What does my registration include?


- BIG: Your welcome coffee, finisher beer, GPX route, on-course security, numbered handlebar plate, BIG jersey (if a BIG line is developed), BIG starter pack with a treat and a local gift, on-course refreshments, and the evening at Chez Lucienne.


- P'tit BIG: Your welcome coffee, finisher beer, GPX route, on-course security, numbered handlebar plate, P'tit BIG cap (if a BIG line is developed), P'tit BIG starter pack with a treat and a local gift, on-course refreshments, and the evening at Chez Lucienne ;-)



* Do I need a medical certificate? No medical certificate.


* What happens if I can no longer participate in the BIG and P'tit BIG events?


- The cancellation insurance aims to fully reimburse the costs incurred for registration in case of cancellation due to unforeseen and accidental circumstances.



* What are the mandatory insurances at my registration? You must have personal accident insurance or personal liability insurance, either through a license issued by a sports federation or privately. By signing the registration form, you commit to this and acknowledge that you are aware of the insurance offer provided by us, the organizer, on the registration form. We cannot be held responsible if you do not comply with this commitment and, consequently, in the event of an incident or claim that occurs before, during, or after the event.


- Similarly, the individual responsibility of all collaborators, assistants, and members of our organization team cannot be engaged before, during, or after the event.



* What is the mandatory equipment? As a participant, you are responsible for your own bike and equipment. It is important to ensure that your bike is in good working condition and that you have all the necessary equipment for the race, including repair tools and first aid. Below is a list of mandatory equipment for BIG and P'tit BIG:


- MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:


- You must have an approved helmet (compliant with CE standards).


- Prepare a GPS counter with the route downloaded in one or more segments.


- Don't forget your repair kits*.


- Your mobile phone must have the security PC number saved**.


- Ensure you have at least 1 liter of water.


- Also, prepare some food reserves.


- *Your repair kit should include multi



-tools, 1 inner tube, 3 tire levers, a pump, patches, and glue.


- **Keep your phone on, don't hide your number, and make sure it's fully charged.



**BEFORE THE START**



* What time can I pick up my bib?


- If you are registered for BIG, you have two time slots for bib pickup. You can collect it either on Friday, May 31, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, or on Saturday, June 1, between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM. The pickup location is Chez Lucienne (or elsewhere).


- If you are registered for P'TIT BIG, you have two time slots for bib pickup. You can collect it either on Friday, May 31, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, or on Saturday, June 1, between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM. The pickup location is Chez Lucienne (or elsewhere).



**ON THE COURSE**



* Is there a GPX track? Yes, a GPX track will be sent to each participant at most 8 days before June 1. In addition, the track will also be made available on the official Belle-Ile-en-Gravel website at the same time as its sending.



* How can I follow the GPX track? To follow the GPX track, make sure you have a fully charged GPS counter at 100%. If you don't have a GPS counter, you can also use a suitable app on your smartphone to guide you throughout the course. Ensure that your smartphone is sufficiently charged for the duration of the event.



* Is it mandatory to follow the GPX track? Yes, it is mandatory to follow the GPX track to be considered an official participant in the BIG events. Make sure to download it and have it readily available during the race.



* Where can I get the GPX track? The GPX track will be sent to you by email at most 8 days before June 1. It will also be available on the official Belle-Ile-en-Gravel website at the same time as its sending. Be sure to download and save the track to your device before the start of the event.



* What safety instructions should be followed during the event? Participants must follow the safety instructions given by the organizer's staff throughout the course. It is essential to follow these instructions to ensure the safety of all participants.



* What type of course can we encounter during the event? The proposed courses will mainly consist of paths, tracks, trails, greenways, and cycle paths, but there may also be sections on open roads. It is therefore essential for each participant to RESPECT THE TRAFFIC RULES throughout the courses, including one-way streets, stops, priorities, and traffic lights. The safety of all depends on this strict compliance.



* What are the instructions to be followed on the course in addition to the traffic rules? In addition to the provisions of the traffic rules, it is essential to follow the instructions given by the organization's personnel and law enforcement officers present on the course. Following these instructions ensures a safe experience and contributes to the smooth organization of the event. Remember that your safety and that of others are essential throughout the event!
